Post-long weekend

Post - Long Weekend

Last day of this holy long weekend doesn't sound interesting at all as we all know work starts tomorrow (for most of the people). I still love the affair I have with my bed, as it gets more comfortable on early mornings. But the thought of dressing up gives me a boost and I would like to give a sight of simple layering for semi-formal or casual daytime occasion.

Kensington Street.

I chose to get out off my shell on the first day of long weekend, instead of glued on my bed all day long, in which I assumed as a good thing. I dressed up due to the escalated changing weather between sun's out, Mr. Cloudy, nor lite rain shower. It is always safe to wear one layer of knitted top for an unpredictable day and warm enough to go around town and eating burger. My roommate dragged me out and we checked out a burger place next to Westfield Bondi Junction, that was surprisingly good. Then we rolled out to Kensington Street for KOI Dessert Bar, as one of us wanted their limited edition cake "Easter Egg" (check it out on my instagram). FYI, KOI Dessert Bar is opened by Reynold Poernomo, the Masterchef Australia 2015 "dessert king" or "dessert phenomenon", he might not win the title, but he won a lot of hearts on his amazing dessert dishes.

Kensington Street has a block of old buildings that's been turned as cafe, showroom, art space and they are all unique. This has became my favorite street so far for documenting outfit or simply chill-out place. (Shout out to Shirley for taking the photos!, my roomie, Winna, and the man behind account @eatingwithyoureyes_)

Woke Up Like This

"There is no shame in beginning again, for you get a chance to build bigger and better than before."

Refurbish the sanity to start again does not sound as cool as it is to be done. The exceptional meaning of "starting again" is not based on refurbishing every single aspect. Not here.
Life has been a roller coaster ride lately, including schedule, dealing with content, and many more things that has kept me away from having new post every single week like I promised you last year. Though, I have said it, and again, quality over quantities. I hope you understand :)

Mid March is supposed to be raining, breeze, windy and fallen leaves. But the summer has extended itself for another 2 weeks now and Sydneysider have now finally had their 19 degrees. I took the chance to wear my latest shopping spree, a black sweatshirt from H&M with "Woke Up Like This" writing on the shoulder parts. The material is very warm and also thick enough for spring or autumn wear, when the weather is not extremely cold. Giving a touch of 70s vibe with tuck-ins and high-waisted A-line denim skirts in deep blue, Maroon satchel bag, and classic black ankle boots. I guess my hair cut supports this look, with its shoulder-length bob. To finish the touch, I put on a pair of silver framed-mirrored-sunnies.

Good news is, your lady, The Pink Frame is now officially on Youtube! *Yaaaaaaaay* Kicking it off with an outfit diary post. I am still an amateur in editing and creating video itself. But I am so excited to explore and create more! <3 Thank you for all your support and love. I hope you'll enjoy the video.
